Introduction

Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad (DHSB) was established in 8th July 1993. A government linked company and a subsidiary of Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) was established to cater Hajj and Umrah operation as a national pilgrimage Hajj agent. In 2001, DHSB then expanded its operations by opening the Travel and Tours Services to cater to inbound and outbound activities as well as tour packages. 

Their main use:-
Communication - They use Verbal communication as their main communication. Example, customers come to Darussalam Holding's office to book their flight ticket, buy their ticket and get to know what is the best promotion going on. They also use Social media as their communication, to let their customers knows what is their promotion

Business Research - The main research of Darussalam Holdings is to surveys through social media and websites. Hence, they also providing feedback form at their stores for their customers to fill in. By doing it so, they would know what is need to improve by collecting information & analyze customers’ feedbacks or comments. Darussalam Holding will get suggestion about the quality of their services whether it is good or bad. They also find ways to fight & attract customers like promotions or discounts.

Procurements - Darussalam Holding need to get Holy water or it was called 'Air zam zam' especially everytime people coming back from umrah or hajj.

Promotion - Darussalam Holding create a promotion to attract their customers to enjoy their journey peacefully. 

Twill Silk

Introduction

Twill Silk was founded in 2010. Twill silk is the ideal fabric for achieving single sided effects prints and a great base for a very popular choice of fabric bases for printed scarves, where the surface effect of the fabric brings added interest to the printed designs.

Their main uses:-

Communication - Twill silk use social media as their main communication. They interact with their customers through phone to take orders. They also use verbal communication such as face to face when they are joining events or expo.

Business Research -  The main research of Twill Silk is to surveys through social media. Hence, they also providing feedback in their social media. By doing it so, they would know what is need to improve by collecting information & analyze customers’ feedbacks or comments. Twill Silk will get suggestion about the quality of their products whether it is good or bad. They also find ways to fight & attract customers like promotions or discounts.

Procurements - Twill Silk get their scarves from their supplier and they need also to get sample so that they will be satisfied.

Promotion - Twill Silk attract their customers with discount especially during expo so that they will buy since Bruneians love scarves.

Definition of internet: The Internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the Internet protocol suite (IP) to connect devices around the world. It is a network of networks comprising private, public, academic, business, and governmental networks locally to the global scope, which is linked to a wide range of electronic, wireless and optical networking technologies. The Internet brings a variety of resources and information services, such as connected hypertext documents and the World Wide Web application, electronic mail, telephone, and file sharing

Definition of Worldwide Web: The World Wide Web (shorten as WWW) is an information space where documents and other web resources are identified by Uniform Resources Locater (URLs), which are linked to hypertext links, and accessible via the Internet.

How does the internet works?
The Internet can be described as a network of computers around the world. While some of its servers have more power than others, it is largely centralized. The Internet itself is just hardware and its connection. This protocol allows different types of access.

Hardware that dominates the Internet is the most important component, and connections between different nodes allow it to reach the entire planet. Various traffic to the right destination, but no centralized server that controls all traffic. Although all infrastructure currently direct traffic properly, the body can not control compliance effectively.

The Internet refers to more than the World Wide Web, which most people mean when they discuss the Internet. FTP connections use the Internet as well, and many companies and organizations have developed their own protocols. 

Domain name server servers are administered by an international group. The Internet location is accessed through a series of numbers, called an IP address, and a DNS server translates a website's name, such as google.com, to the same IP address. This DNS server facilitates the Internet for end users, and they allow the server to change the IP address they use.

4) Satellite Dish

Setup the internet:-
Step 1 - connect to your device using the default wireless SSID of your router.
Step 2 - on your web browser, type the IP address as below and hit ENTER.
Step 3 - click WLAN near the top of the page. From there click WLAN Basic Configuration located in the left hand side bar.
Step 4 - Enter SSID Name, Authentication Mode, Encryption Mode and WPA PreSharedKey/Password.
Step 5 - Save configuration and restart.
